green fashion

lately ive been thinking alot about green fashion. No not the colour, but the idea of owning something 'fashionable' that i wont just chuck out after a season or two. Kate Sylvester is my favourite environmentally friendly New Zealand Designer. I am obsessed with this dress:

If I had more that $5 in my bank account at the moment I would be down at KS in a flash. She also has a deal on her website where if you join the mailing list you get a free penguin classic book and 10% off! Wahoo! I dont really have time to read books but im still stoaked with this deal!

Kate Sylvester also does AH-MAZ-ING lingerie:

Embracing Technology

After a lengthy internal struggle, I have decided to a) embrace the new direction fashion media is taking, and b) create a fashion blog.

Compared to the speed of the internet, print media will most likely be phased out. I brought the most recent issue of British Vogue, and they were ONLY THEN mentioning the passing of prominent British designer Alexander McQueen. This is not due to the slackness of the British fashion media, but an inevitable consequence of print media being so snail paced to reach its audience.

One of my favourite fashion websites is lookbook.nu , here is my favourite look for today:
